Your Invitation to The Tanzania Files

"Be careful. Be careful." I pleaded with the movers as they packed a painting I purchased in Croatia.

I promised myself the day I bought the painting that I would stop buying small souvenirs and instead buy art. Art that some day we would gather in a home to showcase our travels, but as I agonized over the movers packing it securely, I debated if I had made the right choice in purchasing something so precious.

That was about a month ago, and when I handed our belongings off to the movers, I thought we were moving back to the states from the Middle East.

However, our world continues to deliver unexpected challenges and opportunities.

Instead of writing this story from the States I'm writing it from my new veranda in Tanzania.

The relocation happened so fast that it is hard to wrap my mind around the fact that we are even in Tanzania.

But here we are.

I've been debating how to introduce this new chapter to you, with an exciting announcement, a design change, or separate blog altogether.

Instead, I've decided I'll deliver this to you the same way it was delivered to me, as a simple invitation.

Please join me on a journey into Tanzania.
I sincerely hope you'll come along.
